It was an honor to be featured on Fishing The Wild West TV show in 2017. When I started the Bow River Blog in 2006, I was simply a shore fisherman who loved to spend most of my spare time fishing the Bow River. I would fish the shoreline and write about my experiences as they unfolded. Most often than not, I would walk away from the Bow River empty handed, not even getting a bite and scratching my head as to why! I believed, and still do believe, that if you are passionate about something, you won’t easily give up. I kept on casting until I finally landed my first fish, a brown trout from the Bow River.
The primary purpose of the Blog was to help other anglers succeed where I had failed. I have come along way since those early days of getting skunked trip after trip. I followed my passion and my dream and listened to my heart along the journey. I am now a respected fishing guide on the river that frustrated me almost daily, the Lower Bow River.
I am very honored and grateful that all my hard work has paid off and I could be featured on this amazing, well respected television fishing show. Wes David, the show host, and Chuck Macpherson, the camera man extraordinaire are amazing to fish with. So many laughs and such a blast filming this episode of Fishing The Wild West TV Show.
