I was back out on the Bow River again this weekend spinner fishing with my friend Todd and his son Steve. We started out with the Panther Martin sonic spinner and had some success early on in the day. I was using the Minnow Spinner on Saturday and pulled ten fish from the chilly water. On Sunday I never had much luck but Todd and Steve did very well indeed. Steve hollers “I got one dad”and his first fish was a massive Brown Trout that measured twenty-two inches in length. There were some very large fish in that hole today. Steve pulled out six fish over twenty inches long. Todd also did extremely well today with no fish under twenty inches in length being caught.
I was the only one who caught a fish under twenty inches today, I almost cried but theirs always next time. All the pictures of today’s trip are posted in the photo gallery.
