All I want for Christmas is my new fishing gear, my new fishing gear, my new fishing gear.
So have you been naughty or nice? Do you think Santa is going to come down your chimney with a bag full of new fishing lures and maybe a fishing rod to boot? And if he does come down your chimney what did you ask for? Here is one weapon on my list of fishing goodies I asked for this year.
For starters I am always on the look out for a new fishing rod. A fishing rod that is fairly inexpensive which possesses great sensitivity and durability. I like to buy a rod for around a hundred to a hundred and fifty dollars. So this year I asked Santa for a Carrot Stix rod. A what Stix you ask! Yes I said a Carrot Stix. Some of you may have already seen this fancy fish slaying machine and some of you may have not seen it.
The Carrot Stix hit the market a few years ago. The Carrot Stix fishing rods have gained popularity for being one of the lightest and most sensitive rods on the market today. With the new Carrot Stix WILD brand available just in time for the holidays, Santa will hopefully plant one of these babies under my tree. With the price tag at around 120.00, Carrot Stix rods are highly durable and come with a lifetime warranty. Here is the product information. A new value has sprouted in Carrot Stix’s impressive line of innovative rods. A full 5 grams of material has been engineered out of the rod’s tip to allow for more efficient casting, and smaller-diameter, low-framed Minima guides produce less line flutter and increase casting accuracy. A new rear grip shape allows for easier control of the rod, and increased density of nano-bio-fibers derived from carrots provide extra strength and increased surface durability. A gorgeous finish in vivid original Carrot Stix orange rounds out the package for an unbeatably versatile tool that’s made for your hands.

So that takes care of the new rod on my list. What shall we do about all the other goodies I asked Santa for? The next post will cover what kinds of lures and gear I asked for this year. Stay tuned for my 2010 Christmas wish list, you won’t want to miss a post!
